What I have up for bids here is pre-1900s Singer model 27 sewing machine as show above. We are doing a little spring cleaning at my parents home and beginning to sell off some of there unwanted and unused items and this sewing machine is the next to go. Machine would be perfect for that guy or gal who is looking original antique sewing machines to restore or maybe for the guy gal who is looking for antique sewing machine for decorations or display Either way for the opening bid of just $35 you cant go wrong. My mother obtained this machine from my great grandmother at some point and noted that this machine was sitting in her attic for 50 plus years she believes. Now heres what you will get,(1) Antique Singer model 27, serial/model number 15762518 pre-1900s sewing machine as shown above. As noted above, this sewing machine came from my great grandmother and was sitting in an attic for we believe 50 plus years. We plugged the unit in and it does run and work, but to what extent, we do not know as the cord is worn dramatically and we dont want to leave it plugged in for very long. We have been told that the motor on this unit was added at some point and is not original to the machine.
